Atlanta teacher Ron Clark decided to take on the #DoItLikeMe challenge with his students. Their performance has gone viral less than 24 hours after it was published.
Footage showed Clark and seven students perform a number of choreographed moves as part of the #DoItLikeMe online challenge inspired by DLOW. The hip-hop artist’s “Bet You Can’t Do It Like Me” video challenged fans to repeat his dance steps and has been trending since September.
Clark is a co-founder and teacher at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. The institution educates kids from all walks of life, with a focus on at-risk youth. The academy also claims that 3,000 educators attend each year to further their own teaching skills.
The formula of getting down to a child’s level has proven a success and has gotten Clark noticed on the national stage in the past.
The educator appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show multiple times and once told the show “we’re about how to truly get to the heart of being a great teacher.” Winfrey also donated over 0,000 to the school in 2008.
